A love letter to Hawaiʻi

told through art and stories.

Guava Town started as a love letter to home.

After leaving Hawai‘i, I found myself sketching the things I missed — small moments, familiar faces, and the kinds of stories that stick with you. The Tikis came from my brothers. Keahi carries the fire of my sister. I grew up hearing stories about Kamapuaʻa and the Menehunes from my Uncle Earl.

Little by little, those sketches

became a world of their own.

A place full of mischief, laughter, and heart.

I’m grateful to share it with you.

I hope it brings a smile to your face, and maybe reminds you of something you love, too.
